Watching the video of that fellow preening about his environmental consciousness at the Tumbleweed website I was reminded of a quote Michener used about the missionaries who went to Hawaii to convert the heathen - "The came to do good and they did right well."

Also - I noticed that the website has a 700 square foot house as one of its offerings. Eventually it will sell 4,000 square foot mini mansions.

Fascinating...I built a 2-story 352sf workshop with 10 windows, 3 doors, a cupola, shingled and with cedar clapboards and trim. Electrified and insulated (against sound really) for about $10,000 including the tools I needed.

For $35,000 I would think you could build a fairly comfortable bungalow.
